Renovations Coming to Streetsboro Skate Park

The City of Streetsboro will start a full renovation of the skate park, which is located within Streetsboro City Park. This decision continues the trend of significant investment in Streetsboro City Park. The current skate park has served the community well, but it's accessories are nearly 20 years old and has shown signs of wear and an outdated design. Many features no longer meet the needs of today’s skaters, and safety concerns have grown due to aging equipment and surfaces. This will offer a fresh and modern space for skaters of all ages and skill levels.

Other Improvements at City Park

This project is just another to add to the list for the City as it continues to invest in City Park. Over the past few years the City has completed the following projects at Streetsboro City Park:

• Construction of the Streetsboro Community Center

• Construction of an addition to the Parks Service Garage

• Two brand new basketball courts

• Renovation of tennis courts and added pickleball

• Construction of the sand volleyball courts

• Reconstruction and resurfacing of the existing roadway (will be complete in Spring/Summer 2026)

• New ballards/fencing/sidewalks

• Addition of the Story Walk

• Additional parking was added throughout
