2023-2024 Streetsboro Girls Basketball Preview

The 2023-2024 Streetsboro High School Girls Basketball team looks to continue the momentum they built last season. With a school record for wins in a season with 19 and only graduating one member of last year's team, the girls return their entire core and have a lot of depth. The team should compete for the MAC Championship and make a run in the playoffs.

The girls hosted a team media day and put together a meet the team video, which you can see below.

Season/League Outlook

When asked, Coach Singer said, "We have very high expectations for ourselves this season. We believe that we have the talent to accomplish any of the goals we set for ourselves. With all of our starters back and at least a full year of varsity experience, the team is ready to take it to the next level. Our league always has some tough teams but we feel like if we bring our best then we will have an opportunity to win every game on our schedule."

Any interesting facts about athletes or coaches?

Ella Kassan

She committed to play basketball at Westminster after having 3 great seasons.

Naomi Benson

Currently ranked #57 by espn in the country for the class of 2025. Naomi has offers to play at several power 5 schools and also has a chance to score her 1,000th point as only a junior and possibly break some school records.
